Master Class in Acting: Character Development and Technique ~
Join us this June 2017 for an exciting five-week course where we will uncover what it takes to build and enhance characters you play. Learn how to make confident, creative choices that can create fuller, more believable characters. Explore character building through fun and relevant acting exercises. We’ll test out different acting techniques to flesh out your performances. The goal is for the actor to get a deeper understanding of what “works” and what needs improvement when playing a role for the stage or the screen. The feedback, guidance and experience from these classes can help actors to build their skills and confidence when auditioning and performing. Advice, tips, and techniques will be suggested to further help the actor. The actor should then have a clearer understanding of how their acting is honestly perceived by an audience (and how to improve upon it). Join us in this fun atmosphere to build on your character-building skills through monologues, scenes, and cold readings! This class is for experienced actors or beginners.
